Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions form the basis of the contract between GoRentSpain and the and the renter. The rental of the property is conditional upon the acceptance of these terms, by booking a rental property through GoRentSpain it is understood that you have read these conditions and agree to them..
- You should confirm the availability of the selected property with us prior to making any firm travel arrangements. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the property you choose is suitable for your use; for example that the sleeping arrangements for your party are met, and that if you have specific needs (mobility needs/young children/teenagers etc.) you should verify the suitability of the property with Viva and between yourselves prior to proceeding. Having made your choice from properties available, please complete the Booking request on the website. The property will be reserved for you for up to 48 hours to enable you to confirm your travel arrangements. It is in your interests to confirm your Booking as quickly as possible. At this point a non returnable deposit of 20% of the holiday price will be required immediately, this will be acknowledged and the property marked as "Booked or Unavailable" on our website. The balance of the Rent and 150 euros or £100 sterling Bond must be paid to reach our account 8 weeks prior to your holiday. You will be sent a reminder by email to pay the balance. GoRentSpain will advise you of payment methods once the booking is confirmed. In some circumstances i.e. last minute booking, cash payment on arrival in euros can be arranged.
- The property is to be used by the number of people quoted on the booking form for the purpose of a holiday only. If additional people are found to be using the property without prior arrangement with GoRentSpain, we reserve the right to terminate the holiday rental agreement and evict all visitors from the property. The accommodation provided is only for the use of the clients on the booking form. Sub-letting or assignment of the property to others is not permitted. A reasonable standard of dress and behaviour is expected.
- You should note that accommodation providers typically require a deposit. This rental deposit is payable at the time of booking. A 150 Euro returnable security deposit will be required when you pay the balance for your holiday. This is a guarantee against damage to or misuse of the property. Full payment for the rent is payable 8 weeks (56 days) prior to the renters arrival date. If a rent is being booked with 8 weeks then full payment will be required.
- This is fully refundable within 20 days to your bank account once the property has been checked and cleaned, GoRentSpain will need your bank account details. Claims made against the security deposit will only be made in the event of damage defined other than that of normal wear and tear such as damage through neglect or wilful damage. We urge the clients to notify any damage to GoRentSpain promptly, so that it can be rectified quickly. Damage discovered at the end of the letting period will be notified to the guest by email as soon as possible. We expect properties to be left in a reasonable condition so that they can be quickly prepared for the next guests. If abnormal cleaning is required this will be chargeable against the deposit.
- All of our properties are privately owned and GoRentSpain hold no responsibility should the owner remove their property from the rental market. In these circumstance GoRentSpain will endeavour to find alternative rental premises, if in the event we are unable to locate alternative accommodation, a full refund will be offered. GoRentSpain will not be responsible for cancellation of any airlines as a result nor any fees involved for booking alternative accommodation through a third party.
- The property will normally be available for your use from 16:00hrs on your arrival day. On your departure day we ask that you vacate your property by 12:00hrs to allow access for housekeeping of the property. Wherever possible, at your request, these times can be flexible to coincide with your flight times but only by prior arrangement with GoRentSpain. Any visitor staying beyond 18:00 may be charged for an additional half nights stay.
- The rental costs include on arrival the provision of bed linen, bath and hand-towels, we do however ask that you provide your own beach/pool towels, Beach/Pool towels can be hired as an extra item. A fee for housekeeping and laundry is payable is included within your booking, this covers servicing at the end of your stay. On a two week booking a linen change can be provided mid-way through your holiday at an additional cost of 30€.
- You will be sent directions to the GoRentSpain office where keys for your property can be collected during office hours (09.00 - 18.00 hrs Monday to Friday). In some instances a staff member of GoRentSpain will be available to meet you at the holiday property to deliver and retrieve the keys, in which case directions will be sent to you, a charge is made for this Meet & Greet Service which depends on your arrival/departure times. Meeting and transfer from Alicante or Murcia/San Javier airport to the property can also be arranged by Villa & Vacation Services if required, please ask for a quotation for this service as again the price is subject to number of guests and time of arrival.
- All properties are privately owned and as such may be of varying standards of fixtures and fittings but are accurate to the details on our website at www.gorentspain.com.
- The villas depicted in our brochure and on our website are private properties that belong to various owners and are typically located in large residential districts. The villas are not located in holiday parks, so construction work may occasionally occur nearby. This work is carried out by home owners or contractors with whom we have no relationship whatsoever and over whom we cannot exert any control. Neither the accommodation provider nor our organisation can be held liable for inconvenience caused by any construction work not commissioned by the accommodation provider.
- In the unlikely event of a break to he supply of electricity or water services to the property our liability is limited to endeavouring to resolve the problem to the best of our.
- GoRentSpain reserve the right, after giving the tenant prior notice of intent, to inspect the property at any time during the tenancy .
- If you have any complaints at the holiday destination, you should immediately inform us at GoRentSpain. This will give us an opportunity to resolve the complaint. If your complaint was informd at the holiday destination, you must inform GoRentSpain in writing of your complaint, providing details, within one week of leaving the accommodation, in the absence of which the complaint will no longer be admissible. You will forfeit all rights to a refund if you obtain other accommodation, leave the rented property prematurely or incur and costs without first consulting a GoRentSpain representative.
- Insurance & Medical: The rent does NOT include insurance cover so we consider travel and medical insurance to be so essential that it is a condition of booking that you have taken out comprehensive insurance cover. Please read your policy details carefully. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate holiday insurance cover. PLEASE NOTE that the E.111 card (application form obtained at your local Post Office) which is essential for all travellers within Europe, only provides cover for emergency treatment. Should you require emergency treatment and not be able to present a valid E.111 on arrival at a hospital, payment for the treatment will be required at the time.
- GoRentSpain are not liable for any injury or theft at any property. In exceptional circumstances we can provide interpreters for hospital and police visits.
Cancellation Policy
If you or any member of your party cancels the booking this forfeits the 20% deposit. Cancellation must be done in writing by the party leader and sent preferably by registered post, or email (whereby confirmation of its receipt must be received by the party leader). All cancellations are subject to a charge payable by you. This is expressed below as a percentage of the total accommodation rental.
Cancellation received before your holiday:
- 56 days or more - Full Refund of Rental Balance if already paid
- 15 - 56 days - 50% of Balance
- 0 - 14 days - 0% of Balance
Bookings are transferable with a 55 euros administration fee. (ie. if the customer has to cancel but can find an alternative person/s to rent the property).
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance cover which will normally refund you if the reason for your cancellation falls within the terms of the policy.
